    Vision and Values

In the Autumn Term of 2022, we reviewed our Vision and Values, which took place over six weeks and involved seeking the views of parents, teachers, and children.

At the end of this process, our community identified six core values we work to embody for everyone at Amherst Primary School. Our vision is to nurture and develop the values, knowledge, skills and understanding our children need to flourish and make a positive difference in our Bailiwick community and the wider world.

    1. Kindness
    2. Respect
    3. Confidence
    4. Resilience
    5. Honesty
    6. Open-Mindedness

These are embodied by our 'values characters', which are:

Kind Cornet Respectful Rousse Confident Cobo

Resilient Rocquaine Honest Herm Open-Minded Ozanne

These characters are referred to on a daily basis within school. Nominated children are rewarded at the end of each week during our celebration assemblies for how they have demonstrated our school values.
